Older residents of Buckden might rembmeer my wife Pat RosemeyerWe came to live in Buckden in 1968 ,with our two sons,Peter and Nick. We first lived in Manor Gardens and later moved to Bishop's Way.Pat was for many years in charge of the Playgroup , first for Fr.Mahan then later for Fr.FischerIn the Towers.After seventeen years in Buckden, we moved to Spain to a small town west of Madrid.After 27Years here, many of them spent teaching English to a variety of students, ranging from 4 yearOlds to a University Rector, Pat died on Monday 18 Feb. of a fairly rare condition calledMyastenia Gravis, that she endured for some six months.She had always wanted to donate her body to a Teaching Hospital, and fortunately we wereAble to fulfill her wishes with the University of Alfonso xii near to where we live.The Memorial Mass will be held in the local Church and will be attended by family, friends and many ex.pupils.
