We met on a Sunday at Sandy Creek United Church of Christ and I felt like we had known each other for years. You were such a beautiful young woman, vibrant, intelligent beyond your years, and we could laugh...and laugh at the silliest things. You loved to make gifts for people. I still carry a keychain you made for me every day. You wanted to be better, and I admired that in you because I, too, want to be better. You loved Nanny and Granddaddy, your Mom, family, Amanda, Jared, and the rest of your friends. I watched your heartbreak when your grandfather passed, he loved you so much. I know somewhere you and him are hamming it up now. I love you Lindsey, and I'll always hold a special place in my heart for you, until we meet again.

We first met Carole and Lindsey when we moved to North Vancouver in 1998. Carole, you were so kind to us as newcomers and I have many fond memories of Lindsey with us as we explored Vancouver that first summer. I was thrilled when she and Tamara reconnected through Facebook a couple of years back and even more thrilled to learn that we were now sisters in Christ. My heart breaks for your loss Carole but know that right now she is safe in the arms of Jesus. May you know His perfect peace that passes all our limited understanding.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" Psalm 34:18
Much love to you, Margaret Ezzet

Lindsey, I hope you know what a beautiful soul you are. You were my cheerleader. I'll miss your stories and your amazing sense of humour. I'm so thankful for our memories, and I'm sorry that it had to end so soon. I'm still keeping you in my pocket, Love, until I see you again.

Dearest Lindsey, our Junior Hobbit,
I still can't quite believe that you are gone from this world. Every day I see something that reminds me of the time you spent here in Atlanta with us. My favorite fuzzy bathrobe that you gave me for Christmas, the zombie mask you forgot to take when you left, memories of cat breading and the Kitten of Christmas competition, duct-tape costumes and cat-moustaches...all things that never would have happened without you. You helped me see beauty where others saw only scraps. Without you here to sparkle, the world has lost its shine.
