Obituary of John Mulkey
Funeral services for John Mulkey, age 58, of Roanoke, will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Steve Robertson and Cindy Norred officiating. Burial will follow at Heritage Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, August 24, 2018.
Mr. Mulkey passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Clay County Hospital in Ashland, Alabama.
Survivors include his mother Ethel Mulkey; one brother Henry Mulkey of Wedowee; two nieces, Shannon Harrington (husband, Steve) of Wedowee and Stacy Mulkey of Colorado; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Mulkey was born on August 19, 1960, the son of James William and Ethel Wood Mulkey. He was a member of Community Life Church and had been employed at Southwire. He attended Randolph County Learning Center for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father and brother William Mulkey.
