Obituary of Troy Elliott Hanner

OBITUARY Funeral services for Mr. Troy Elliott Hanner, of Woodland, age 91, will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 1:00 pm, from East Napoleon Church of Christ with Bro. Wilbur Bass officiating. Burial to follow in adjoining church cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Mr. Hanner died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at his home. Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (husband Edwin) Pollard of Woodland; one son, Michael (wife Ann) Hanner of Lanett; four sisters, Lucille Wilson, Inez McManus, Lorene Cofield, and Doris Morgan all of Woodland; one brother, Charlie Hanner of Woodland; three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mr. Hanner's nephews. Mr. Hanner was born January 23, 1919, the son of Charlie Lee and Lola Harris Hanner. He was a member of the East Napoleon Church of Christ and a cattle and crop farmer. Mr. Hanner was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Lena Hanner; his parents; one daughter, Rosa Lee Hanner; three brothers, Emmett, Roy and Ray Hanner.
