Freddie, Nellie and Travis, what a great life of service your mom lived and what a wonderful, giving attitude she had. I'm so sorry that she couldn't have gone on with her work and service for another 20 years, but it's nice to think that she's once again with your dad and Vera Mae and the other family and friends she loved.

Freddie, please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother. Although I didn’t know your mom that well, I heard nothing but wonderful things about her and about her never ending concern, caring and service to others. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

She fought a good fight, she kept the faith and has finished her course. Her life is an inspiration to all who knew her. A true Proverbs 31 woman. This world is a better place because she lived and Heaven is sweeter since she is there.

Freddie, Nellie, and Travis. I am so sorry about the passing of Aunt Hazel, one of the most caring, gentle souls I have had the pleasure to know. I hope the sadness in your heart can be offset by the joy of knowing that she is now reunited with loved ones gone on before. Vera Mae once told me of Hazel, that there was a special place in Heaven for those that provide others a home. I can think of no one more deserving of such a reward as your incredible Mother. God Bless you all in this time of loss.

My love and prayers to Freddie, Nellie, and Travis in the passing of your mother. Aunt Hazel was my favorite aunt. She was such an inspiration to all who knew her. She had such a beautiful spirit, unselfish, only giving to others. She was always the same, loving, caring, and showing concern for others. She is waiting for the rest of her family to be with her in heaven one day now.

She was a strong woman with a lot to give. I never saw her hold back her gift from God. She was always the helper and care giver. It never seemed to slow her down or take up to much time. It was just her purpose and her commitment.

Happy Birthday, my dearest Mama. I remember spending your last birthday with you and am so happy that I did. I miss you so much, but I know you are in heaven with Daddy and Vera Mae and all the others you loved so much. No Mama could ever compare to you. You gave to everyone and you gave from your heart. I love you.

This is the time of year I will always miss my Mama and Daddy most. Little things like the taste of fruit cake or peppermint candy, which Daddy always bought for Christmas, and the sight Christmas decorations like the ones Mama saved from year to year make me keenly aware of my loss.
