Funeral services for Margaret Ann Watts, age 64, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, January 19, 2015, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Etchison and Rev. Patricia Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Mills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 18th.
Ms. Watts died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include one daughter, Mylinda Bevels of Roanoke; one son, William Wilkerson (wife, Betty) of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Jessica Mitchell, Paige Mitchell Tucker, Nathan Bevels and Holden Wright; parents, Willard & Eileen Watts of Roanoke; four sisters, Oday Britt, Gail Smith and Leticia Denham, all of Roanoke and Charleen Thomas of Opelika; two brothers, J. W. Watts and James Watts, both of Roanoke; and a special friend, Chris Studdard of LaGrange, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Junior Davidson, Michael Henderson, Jason Exum, Holden Wright, Steven Snow and Nathan Sikes.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Ms. Watts was born February 1, 1950, the daughter of Willard Jacob and Willie William Drake Watts. She was a member of Roanoke Church of the Nazarene and had worked as a CNA at Traylor Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Watts.
