Our prayers and thoughts go out to this family. I've had the pleasure of knowing this family for many years since my childhood. We are so sorry for this family's loss, but know we will once again be with Brother Roger in eternity.
May God comfort you all as only He can.
Love,
Loretta (Lynn ), Abriella, and Greyson

I have known Mr. Thomas for 35 years and he was a wonderful person. Saw him a couple of year ago in Pensacola Florida and he gave me a Big hug and we talked for a long time. May God be with the Thomas family during there time of loss.

Sending condolences to Linda and the family. So proud to have loved and known my cousin "from Alabama"! My mother, his Aunt Vivian, loved him and his brothers and sister so much. In our younger days I always looked forward to seeing my cousins and spending time playing, laughing, and enjoying being with them. As we grew up we all went different directions but kept in touch through all my other relatives. I remember how excited the family was when Linda and Roger married. Mother and Roger's other aunt Nita would stop by for short visits on their way to and from the many many trips to Alexander City taking care of their parents and being with their other Alabama relatives. Guess some who are reading this may think that it is odd for me to refer to Roger and my other kin as Alabama kin, but my mother and her younger sister Nita settled in Georgia and raised their families there. I guess it just stuck when we would refer to our various kin as those in Alabama, South Carolina, and Texas! Well enough about that. Just know that we all loved Roger very much even though separated by state lines and other life experiences. Watching Roger and his family grow gave my mother a lot of pleasure. She especially was found of Melinda and so enjoyed their correspondence over the years. She enjoyed the photos Melinda would share and in turn I loved seeing Mother enjoy and share her extended family over the years.
And now with FB I have loved getting back in touch. Death seems to be all too familiar now that our loved ones are passing, but it is with joy and peace that we celebrate Roger's life and his beautiful Christian family who will be grieving for him. Roger became a loving, caring, solid Christian man who is leaving a legacy that will continue. Wishing I could be there to hug each one of Roger's family.

We had not seen Roger for years until a couple of weeks ago. When we were small, we had family reunions. I loved them. I had never met Roger's family and so enjoyed seeing them recently Roger was a good Christian man
