Viola was such a wonderful person to all of us here in the Flint area. I remember spending time with both her and Russ and their son Russ at different functions through the school. She was a positive role model for me. I remember her talking about driving a dump truck because it needed to be done and no one else was available. I also remember her encouragement and praise. There was nothing she couldn't do because she was brave and willing to try even if what she was doing wasn't what society believed was right. My thoughts go out to the family. She was wonderful!
