Funeral services for Agnes Ann Knight, age 64, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, July 28, 2014, at 2:00 pm from New Life Worship Center with Rev. Lathonia Wright officiating. Mrs. Knight will lie in state at the church for one hour beginning at 1:00 pm on Monday.
The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 27th.
Mrs. Knight died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her home.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen Knight (Tommy Knight) of Roanoke, Monica Tucker (Ricky Tucker, Sr.)of LaGrange, Ga. and Laureen Gonzalez (Peter Gonzalez) of Miami; two sons, William Young and John Horton, Jr. (April Joiner) both of Roanoke; a special granddaughter she help raise, Shalena Wingfield (Jeffery Wingfield) of Ellenwood, Ga.; several other grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.
A North Carolina native, Ms. Knight was born June 13, 1950, the daughter of Alfus and Clara Jane Stubbs Cobb. She was a homemaker.
