Funeral services for Ann Windsor, age 92, of Roanoke, will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, June 27th.
Miss Windsor passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at LaFayette Nursing Home.
Survivors include her caretaker and cousin, Beth Pike of Five Points and her special friend, Jane Cato of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be John Windsor, Tommy Windsor, Billy Joe Pike, Timothy Carson, Kirby Windsor, and Byron Morrison.
A Randolph County native, Miss Windsor was born on January 7, 1922, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Elizabeth Adamson Windsor. She had been a member of First Baptist Church of Roanoke since 1948 and had worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Roanoke Fund.
