Survivors include his parents, Matthew Robert Thompson and Meaghon Elizabeth Morton of Woodland; paternal grandparents, Alto Thompson and Carol Sheppard of Woodland; maternal grandparents, Chris Morton and Magda Morton of Navarre, Florida, Joe and Laura Warren of Roanoke; step-paternal grandfather, Charles Sprayberry of Woodland; a sister, Rylee Mae Thompson of Woodland; a brother, Reid Christopher Giardina of Woodland; two aunts, Rebecca Morton of Navarre, Florida and Katie Thompson of Woodland; two uncles, James Thompson of Anniston and Forrest Warren of Auburn.
