Graveside services for Julian M. Knight, age 72, of Wadley, will be held Sunday, April 27, 2014, at 2:00 pm from Forrester's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Burroughs and Bro. Donnie Perry officiating.
The family will receive friends at Forrester's Chapel beginning at 12:30 on Sunday.
Mr. Knight died Friday, April 25, 2014, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ragsdale Knight of Wadley; one sister, Ramona K. Madden of Woodland; one brother, Wendell A. Knight of Wadley; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Knight Jr., Donnie Knight, Tommy Knight, Earnie Madden, Bill Carson, Larry Gosdin, John Maleckas and Wade Watts.
A life-long Randolph County resident, Mr. Knight was born June 26, 1941, son of John Mitchell and Madge Carson Knight. He was a member of Forrester's Chapel and was a self-employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
