Mary Diane Lovelace Wood, age 62, of Roanoke passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cynthia Wood of Wedowee; two sisters, Doreen Young of Roanoke and Darlene Mobley of Five Points; and one brother, Junie Sleasman of Wedowee.
A long-time Roanoke resident, Ms. Wood was born on January 12, 1952, the daughter of Bobby Lovelace and Evelyn Bonnie Farr. She was a weaver at Mohawk Industries. Ms. Wood was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenny Martin.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
