Funeral services for Kathleen Nobley Baldwin, age 70, of Roanoke, will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Baugh officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 14th.
Mrs. Baldwin died Thursday, February 13, 2014, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Vertis Baldwin; one daughter, Tammy Clanton of Roanoke; one son, Tony Baldwin (Crystal) of Alex City; one sister, Sandra Guin of Scottsboro; one brother, Bill Nobbley of Roanoke; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Clanton, Matthew Clanton, Michael Tripp, Billy Worley, and Jim Moon. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
A Randolph County resident most of her life, Mrs. Baldwin was born on March 27, 1943, daughter of William and Ollie Mae Fowler Nobley. She was a homemaker and attended Handley Avenue Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Nobley; sister, Jeanette Newman; son-in-law, Randall Clanton.
