Funeral services for Rhonda Lea Puckett, age 53, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Benefield and Rev. F.W. Sheppard officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2014.
Ms. Puckett passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include her companion, Ronnie Vinson of Roanoke; one daughter, Crystal Vinson of Roanoke; one son, Frank Dean Wilson of Woodland; four grandchildren; her mother, Joyce Harp of Roanoke; one sister, Wanda Mapp of Smith Station; one brother, James (Pam) Billy Towler, Jr., of Roanoke; six nephews and one niece.
A Randolph County native, Ms. Puckett was born on December 7, 1960, the daughter of James Billy and Joyce Bailey Towler. She had previously worked as a CNA at Randolph County Hospital. Ms. Puckett was preceded in death by her father, James Billy Towler, Sr., and her grandparents, James A. and Virginia Bailey and Wallace and Rosa Towler.
The family is accepting flowers or, in lieu of flowers, suggests donations be made to Randolph County Animal Shelter.
