Graveside services for Jettie Mae Veal, age 77, of Roanoke, will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Stoney Halsey officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21st.
Mrs. Veal died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include two brothers, Vertis Baldwin and Richard Baldwin both of Roanoke.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Veal was born February 8, 1936, daughter of Earnest and Cora Madden Baldwin. She was a member of Forest Home Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther "Junior" Veal; one sister, Janell Moon; two brothers, Curtis Baldwin and Roger Baldwin.
