Funeral services for Deborah Mosley Brissel, age 50, of Roanoke will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ben Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 23rd.
Mrs. Brissel died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Wedowee Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Wendell F. Brissel, Sr. of Roanoke; two daughters, Shena Marie Brissel of Daviston and Dena Jean Browning of Valley; one son, Wendell F. "Bubba" Brissel, Jr. of Roanoke; two sisters, Pat Mosley of Roanoke and Cindy Smith of Opelika; two brothers, Danny Allen of Carrollton, GA, and Kenneth Mosley of Waycross, GA; eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Brissel, Chris Walker, Jimmy Browning, Justin Estes, Scotty Allen and Daniel Allen.
Mrs. Brissel was born March 13, 1963, daughter of William Wallace and Bobbie Jean Bennett Mosley. She was Baptist by faith.
