OBITUARY
Funeral services for Catherine Benefield, age 60, of Roanoke, will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Benefield, Rev. Bill Calhoun, and Keith Minix officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1st.
Miss Benfield died Monday, April 29th, at Roanoke Healthcare.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Lois Moore and Lorena Minix both of Roanoke; one brother, Earl Benefield of Union Springs.
A Randolph County native, Miss Benefield was born August 1, 1952, daughter of Charlie B. and Clementine Garrison Benefield. She was a member of Handley Avenue Church of God.
