Obituary of Margaret Ann Nolen Brewer

Funeral services for Margaret Ann Nolen Brewer, age 78, of LaGrange, Georgia, will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 1:00 pm (Central DST) from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel in Roanoke with Rev. Terry Hopson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm (Central DST) on Tuesday, March 26th. Mrs. Brewer died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann Laster of LaGrange, Ga.; four sons, John David Brewer of LaGrange, Bruce Earl Brewer Jr. (wife, Barb) of Lynn Haven, Fl., James Edward Brewer (wife, Ellen) of LaGrange and Charlie James Nolen, also of LaGrange; special son-in-law, Timothy Lee Laster of Franklin, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a special friend of many years, Mary Overton of Roanoke. Pallbearers will be Paul Frieberg, Tim Laster, Jesse Stevens, Robby Hanners, Jordan Laster and Casey Tarwater. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Brewer was born March 25, 1934, daughter of John B. and Lucy Cummings Nolen. She was Baptist by faith and worked as a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Earl Brewer Sr.; two brothers, James Nolen and Charlie Nolen.
