Funeral services for Eugene Thomas Shelnutt, age 51, of Roanoke, will be 1:00 pm Sunday, March 17, 2013, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Brother Bill Prince, Jr. and Brother Edward Herren officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday March 16, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mr. Shelnutt died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Atlanta Medical Center. He is survived by his parents, Charlie and Edna Mae Millsaps Shelnutt of Roanoke, one daughter, Megan (husband Christopher) Luntz of Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughter, Lilyanna Luntz, one sister Teresa (husband Keith) Farmer, of Roanoke, two brothers, Stephen Shelnutt and Tim Shelnutt, both of Robinsville, NC
Mr. Shelnutt was born October 30, 1961, the son of Charlie Eugene and Edna Mae Millsaps Shelnutt. He was a plant mechanic at Mohawk Industries.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to the Eugene Shelnutt Memorial fund c/o Teresa Farmer 10545 County Road 59, Woodland, AL 36280.
