OBITUARY
Funeral services for Shelby Jean Barnett, age 67, of Roanoke, will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, December 2, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cosper, Ronnie Anglin, Dexter Anglin, Larry Smith, Danny Bailey and Hoyt Pinkard, Jr.
Mrs. Barnett died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by two daughters, Teresa Bradley and Cynthia Sprayberry both of Roanoke; one sister, Joyce Hall; one brother, James Venson Bailey; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Barnett was born, October 21, 1945, the daughter of, William L. and Maudie Smith Bailey. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church but attended Community Life.
Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mavie Dean Bennett; three brothers, Gylrene, Jerry and Alford Bailey.
