OBITUARY
Funeral services for Miss Martha Faye Davis, of Roanoke, age 60, will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 1:00 pm from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark Raughton officiating. Burial to follow in Sims Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
Miss Davis died Monday, January 4, 2010 at Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyn Davis of Roanoke; her parents, Frank and Nellie Davis of Lafayette; two sisters, Jean (husband Ellis) Estes of Wadley, Linda (husband James) McGill of Lafayette; one brother, Frank (wife Ruth) Davis of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Roger Green, Mark Holmes, Robert Estes, Casey Heath, Jeremy Butler and Johnathan Barron.
Miss Davis was born November 4, 1949, the daughter of Frank and Nellie Davis, Sr. She was a member of Lowell Methodist Church and had worked as a cable operator for Candlewick Yarns.
