Obituary of Darrell Dennis Nutt

Funeral services for Darrell Dennis Nutt, age 58, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 11th. 

Mr. Nutt passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Peggie Sue Sprayberry Nutt; step-daughter, Stella Fitzgerald of Woodland; step-son, Larry Bagley of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Kamala Fincher, Kamdyn Fincher, and Eric Bagley; sister, Jennifer Nutt of Cordele, GA; brother, Roger Nutt of Vienna, GA.

Pallbearers will be Charles Sprayberry, Bryar Brooks, Shane Smith, Ray Sprayberry, Mike Clemons, and Brandon Clark. Tim Taylor will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Mr. Nutt was born on April 3,1966, in Crisp County, Georgia, the son of William Dennis Nutt and Imogene Nutt.  He served in the Army. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Franklin, GA, and had been employed as a truck driver.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
