Obituary of Nancy Lynn Worthy
Nancy Lynn Worthy, age 54, of Roanoke, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her residence.
Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Worthy; two sons, Jimmy Ray Worthy, Jr. of Roanoke, and Billy James Worthy of Five Points; and two grandchildren, Serenity’Rose Fayth Worthy and Brynleigh’Rayne Grace Worthy.
A LaGrange, GA native, Mrs. Worthy was born on November 6, 1969, the daughter of James Harold Pitts and Carrie Jean Butler Pitts. She was Christian by faith and had worked at Burger King as a cashier. Mrs. Worthy enjoyed sewing, babysitting, and baking. She was a caring woman who loved children. Mrs. Worthy was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Barbara Jean Butler.
The family will hold a service at a later date.
