When we dropped in to see Tommie Lou she would hand us a sack to pick up pecans and a smile and always tell my grandparents to hurry back to see them!! The wonderful open arms she always had towards family will never be forgotten. Family does have our condolences at this time, but Tommie Lou has earned her reward in heaven with her Heavenly Father and she’s rejoicing with her family members that were awaiting her arrival.

I remember when we first moved to Roanoke, Tommie Lou was so good to me. I was pregnant and sick, and she took me under her wing. We would go to auctions, and church together. My husband was her pastor, and she loved us unconditionally. Love you, Tommie Lou!

Tommie Lou was one of the most special people it has been my pleasure to know. She was a God-fearing woman who loved her family. She touched the lives of everyone she ever met. Working with her was never boring. I was honored to call her my friend. To all the family, you have my deepest condolences.
