Obituary
Funeral services for Renee Pike, age 69, of Rock Mills, will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Mills Cemetery.
The family will have a private viewing.
Mrs. Pike passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at Bethany House Hospice in Auburn.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Pike; one daughter, Mary (Jason) Hester of Rock Mills; one son, Mark Pike (Donna) of Rock Mills; one son-in-law, Chris Williamson of Rock Mills; 11 grandchildren, Stiles Williamson (Taylor), Sierra Williamson (Keith Clark), Skyler Williamson (Riley), Sayde Williamson, Saxton Hester, Sawyer Hester, Brittany Williamson, Halie Hester, Jamison Hester, Caden Smith, and Mallory McGill; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Delores Burgess of Roanoke; and her lifelong best friend and sister-in-law, Becky Brewer of Rock Mills.
Pallbearers will be Chris Williamson, Stiles Williamson, Jason Hester, Jamison Hester, Eddie Pike, and Danny Pike. Honorary pallbearers will be Saxton Hester, Sawyer Hester, and Skyler Williamson.
A Lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Pike was born the daughter of Howard and Macy Jo Yarbrough Hand on September 9, 1954. She was a member of Rock Mills Methodist Church. Mrs. Pike loved to cook and had been employed by Roanoke City Schools in the lunchroom before eventually retiring as a lunchroom manager for the Randolph County School Systems. She loved to fish in her free time. Mrs. Pike loved her family; she was the best Mama and Maw Maw in the world. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shannon Williamson; granddaughter, Amber Pike; nephew, Chad Pike; maternal grandparents, William Lamar and Hattie Louise Borders Yarbrough; paternal grandparents, Alpha Omega and Beetie Belle Sheppard Hand; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Burgess.
