Obituary of Joe H. Bell
Funeral services for Joe H. Bell, age 81, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 12:30 PM CDT at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM CDT on Monday before services begin.
Mr. Bell passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Carrollton Manor in Carrollton, GA.
Survivors include: one daughter, Christie Fisher (Richard) of Bremen, GA; one son, Brad Bell (Michelle) of Temple, GA; six grandchildren, Mason Bell, Anabelle Crulee, Aden Crulee, Liam Fisher, Lena-Grace Fisher and Cameron Fisher (Kacey); two great-grandchildren, Carolina and Ada; and three brothers, Frank Bell, Julian Bell, and Mark Bell, Burlington, NC.
A Dozier, Alabama native, Mr. Bell was born on September 18, 1942, the son of Charles and Mary Peek Bell. He was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church, a graduate of Handley High School, where he was Senior class president, and Jacksonville State University, and was a business owner in Carrollton, Georgia, for 40 years. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents.
