I knew Joe from Homestead Florida, through his Father Dr Jerry Halker DDS. My former wife worked in his dental office. Joe was always respectful and a true southern gentleman. He occasionally would call me and we would discuss the good old days. He occasionally would participate in our church’s compline FB on line evening service. The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Sunday to Thursdays at 9:00pm we kept him on our prayer list during this last illness. May Peace be with the Family. Knowing he was well liked and respected .
