Miss Juanita was my mom‘s friend for over 45 years. They spent the last couple of years of my mom‘s life at the nursing home together. I had intentions to go by and visit her many times, and I tried to find out if she was still there. I’m sad that I never made it over there. My mom passed away two years ago at 95.

Miss Juanita was a dear and special Lady to our family. We so enjoyed years of happy fellowship with her at Freeman Memorial Methodist. Our Minister, Rev. Jim Hearn took special delight in visiting her and bringing her to Church as long as it was possible. My precious parents, Bud & Linda Long, loved Miss Juanita and preceded her to Heaven. She was always such a beloved member. Thank you to her sister, and niece for the joy and care they gave to her. She talked of you all the time. Prayers and love to Miss Juanita’s family.

I met Juanita almost 2 years ago when she and my mother were roomates at Newnan Health and Rehab. I loved talking with her about her family and her work. She was friends with a lady that I had known growing up. I did not get to see her last week when I visited my mother and I am so sorry about not getting to see her one more time. I will miss her and feel so fortunate that I got to know her for a little while. My thoughts are for her family members and friends during this sad time. Miriam Lanier
