Obituary of Bobby Glendon Sudduth

OBITUARY Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Glendon Sudduth, of Roanoke, age 83, will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 2:00 pm from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Glass and Rebecca Fulks officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 28, 2009. Mr. Sudduth died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Bethany House. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (husband Wayne) Mitchell of Montgomery; one step-daughter, Janice (husband Robert) Moore of Oxford; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; dear friend, Marie Pinkard of Mill Town. Pallbearers will be Mike Potts, Chris Potts, Jimmy Pinkard, Lynn Coker. Mr. Sudduth was born December 25, 1926, the son of John Wesley and Monnie Wright Sudduth. He had worked as a machinist for Genuine Motor Company and served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Sudduth was preceded in death by spouse, Louise Gregg Sudduth and his parents.
