Obituary of Addy Royston
Funeral services for Addy Royston, age 23, of Wadley will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Sprayberry officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Addy passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mylah Jade Royston; one son, Greyson Kade Royston; her father and stepmother, Ryan Lee Royston and Shawna Royston; her mother, Desiree Boggus Waldrep; paternal grandparents, Lynn and Mary Wilkins of Wadley and Frank and Debbie Royston of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Tammy Boggus of Roanoke; three brothers, Andrew Dalton Royston of Riverdale, GA, Cole Moncus and Michael Waldrep, both of Heflin; and aunts and uncles, Dustin Wilkins, Kristin Hardnett, Amanda Boggus, Jake Boggus, Anna White, and Christy White.
Pallbearers will be Jake Boggus, Kaysen Boggus, Dusty Wilkins, Mykell Hardnett, Devin Freeman, and Greg Cottle. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Reeves and Christian Reeves.
A Roanoke native, Addy was born on January 31, 2001, the daughter of Ryan Lee Royston and Desiree Boggus Waldrep. She attended Mt. Springs Baptist Church and worked as a painter at Wellborn Cabinets. Addy loved to draw and paint and work in the garden with her pawpaw and she loved music and playing guitar when she was younger. Addy was preceded in death by a grandmother, Sherry Swann and a special great-aunt, Jane Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home at 319 College St., Roanoke, AL 36274, to go toward final expenses.
