OBITUARY
Funeral services for Myrtice Broach Ferrell, age 77, of Roanoke, will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 11, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gerald Romine and Bro. Wes Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2012, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ferrell died Thursday, August 9, 2012, in Opelika.
Pallbearers will be David Duffie, Jeff Fulghum, Jason Lazenby, and Kevin Noles.
Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her son, Eddie Ferrell of Opelika; one brother, Grover Broach of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Luke Ferrell and Aaron Ferrell.
Mrs. Ferrell was born September 10, 1934, the daughter of Arthur Edmund and Roxie Richardson Broach. She had been self-employed as a seamstress and was a member of Roanoke Church of Christ. Mrs. Ferrell was preceded in death by her husband, Gay Ferrell; her parents; daughter in law, Denise Ferrell; two sisters and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a hospice of one's choosing.
