OBITUARY
Funeral services for Miss Annie Lois Sanders, of Roanoke, age 84, will be held Thursday, December 24, 2009, at 11:00 am from the Rock Mills Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Boggin officiating. Miss Sanders will lie in state at the church one hour before the service. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2009.
Miss Sanders died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Randolph Medical Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Johnny Sanders of Roanoke, Edward Sanders of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Miss Sanders was born January 14, 1925, the daughter of John Tom and Dessa Towler Sanders. She was a member of the Rock Mills Methodist Church and had been a textile spinner for Wehadkee Yarns. Miss Sanders was preceded in death by her parents.
