Obituary of Patsy Ruth Bailey

OBITUARY Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Bailey, age 78, of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 29, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Bonner and Rev. Roger Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 28th, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tommy Yarbrough, Ralph Gooden, III, Adam Yarbrough, Jacob Yarbrough, S. A. Kidd and Harry Botsford. Mrs. Bailey died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Bailey is survived by two daughters, Jean (husband Curt) Yarbrough of Roanoke, Ann (husband John) Gurr of Roanoke; three sisters, Sharron Bryant of Warner Robbins, GA, Lajuana Torrance of Simi Valley, CA, Evelyn Garrett of LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Bailey was born April 15, 1934, the daughter of Patrick E. and Altha Coon Bailey. She was a member of Lebanon Christian Church, had worked as a circuit board builder for L. A. California, liked bowling with her grandchildren, playing cards, quilting and watching T V. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents.
