It’s not often that we come to know people like Teledia. She had a witty way about her that you couldn’t help but laugh when she expressed her opinion about a project we had decided to try. You knew without a doubt whether or not she was in favor of it.
Teledia loved her “studio girls” and the time we spent together. And we all loved Teledia. We will miss her every day and every time we meet.
For me personally, I have experienced a loss like no other. I can’t begin to tell you how much she helped me over the past year. She was a sounding board when something needed solving. She was generous with her time and always ready for an adventure. She was my friend and I shall think of her as one of the treasures of this life.

The first time I meet Teledia we went digging up daffodils on the road side in Roanoke She liked antiques and gardening We exchanged books
She came to New Jersey with me and ran up the Rocky Balboa stairs in Philadelphia. We spent many a night sipping wine in her beautiful, plant/flower filled porch. I would wake up early and text “R U up?”
She would text: getting my coffee.
We would then talk. We shared a lot of good times, sad times, and everything in between. No matter what was going on , we would hang up laughing I will miss our beloved Aunt Teledia. RIP my sweet friend -until we meet again

Teledia....such a fun-loving and faithful friend I had! We spent many hours at Linda Awbrey's Studio learning how to paint and create other forms of art that we sometimes were proud of and sometimes just wanted to start over! She was always the anchor of our group of friends with her spirited and lively personality. We will miss you so so much!! ❤❤
Lovingly, Jan Muldrew

It’s hard to find words that accurately describe my Aunt Teledia. She was infectious. Her smile, her laugh, her humor, but mostly importantly her love. When she loved you, it was for ever, no strings attached, nothing you could do to change it. When you were one of hers, you would always be one of hers. I saw so much of who I want to be as a person in her. I could never thank the Lord enough for allowing me the privilege to know and be loved by her. I love you now and forever, and I can’t wait to see you again one day. Thank you.. well for everything.
