My grandparents, “Mimi” and Bobby, were married for 68 years. They were so in love and cared deeply for each other. I’m am so grateful for the example that they set for me. Mimi was incredible generous, loving, spunky, and stylish. She was a wonderful grandmother. I was her oldest granddaughter and I love her very much. I’m so glad that my children, Liam & Matheson, were able to know and love her too.

To our beloved Patsy
Our dear Patsy,
We have known you for many years (but not enough) and have admired your devotion to family and friends. From our first visit to the new Church (St Barnabas) you and your family welcomed us. You all helped us move in ( I thought Elaine would freeze to death checking off each box that came off the truck). Bobby helped me find a place for each box in the barn and you helped Mac keep the house straight.
Every Sunday you two would invite us to lunch at a different restaurant around the area and we enjoyed every minute.
We traveled all around Alabama and even ventured out west to California. Remember the train ride across Canada? I think that was the most fun I have ever had. You two were the most congenial couple we had ever been around. I guess that is why we considered you two our best friends.
Now, you’ve gone on ahead to a better place, but we will linger awhile and remember the past while looking forward to joining you in the future.
We love you and your family.
