Obituary of Mary Sue Hall
Funeral Services for Mary Sue “Sister” Hall, age 72, of Wadley will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Wadley City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, April 20.
Mrs. Hall passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia.
Survivors include her nieces, Cynthia Daniel of Dickert, AL., Crystal Nelson Halstead of Monroe, GA.; nephew, Tim Pollard (Melissa) of Roanoke, AL.; sister, Nell Butler Denby of Newnan, GA.; brother, Caliph Lee Nelson of Covington, GA.; a number of step and half brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Hall was born on June 8, 1950, the daughter of Calip Hardy Nelson and Effie Mae. She was Christian by faith and grew up in Leven’s Baptist Church. She was a retired social worker from the Alabama Department of Human Resources. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Charles J. “Jimmy” Hall; and several brothers and sisters.
