Graveside services for Betty Jean Guilford, 89, of Roanoke, will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Mrs. Guilford passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Roanoke. 

Survivors include her son, Danny Hand (Dona) of Roanoke, Ala.; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Guilford was born on September 11, 1933, the daughter of Martin C. and Lula Mae Owsley Brand.  She was Christian by faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Guilford is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur “Bubba” Guilford; son, Gary Hand; and brothers, Wayman Brand and David Brand.
