Obituary of Annie J. Glass

OBITUARY Funeral services for Annie Jo Glass, age 87, of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Rock Mills Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Frank Foster, SR and Rev. Frank Foster, JR officiating. She will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6th, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chris Glass, Terry Fulwider, Brandon Nicholson, Eddie Parker, Donnie Parker, Marvin Brand. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin and Tommy Fulwider. Mrs. Glass died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Wedowee Hospital. Mrs. Glass is survived by three daughters, Betty Fulwider of Smyrna, TN, Jackie Kimbar of Roanoke, Brenda (husband Don) Owens of Roanoke; one son, John (wife Rhonda) Glass of Roanoke; two sisters, Frances Lawhorne of LaGrange, GA, Alma Jean Morton of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Glass was born August 21, 1924, the daughter of Marvin Dewey and Nettie Jane Key Parker. She was a member of the Rock Mills Church of the Nazarene and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Glass was preceded in death by her husband, William T.
