Obituary of Danny Peterson

Funeral services for Danny Ray Peterson, age 78, of Lanett will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at the Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:00 PM on Monday before services begin.

Mr. Peterson passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospital in LaGrange, GA.

Survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Miller of Stedman, NC; one son, Markus Peterson (Michelle) of Haleyville, AL; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friend, Mary Nell Redden and the Redden family.

A Valdosta, Georgia native, Mr. Peterson was born on March 29, 1944, the son of Roscoe and Marie Touchton Peterson.  Mr. Peterson was Baptist by faith and was a senior mechanic for the Army Corp of Engineers.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Peterson.
