Obituary of Eris Maxine Breed
Funeral services for Eris Maxine Breed, age 99, of Roanoke, AL, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM CST at North Main Congregational Christian Church with Bro. Kenneth Johnson and Bro. Billie Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022. She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services beginning on Saturday.
Mrs. Breed passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Lineville Health and Rehab.
Survivors include her sons, John “Tommy” Breed, Jr. of Prattville, AL, and Mike Breed (Cathy) of Roanoke, AL; Four grandchildren, Dean Breed, Chris Breed (Lauren), Stephen Breed, and Alison Claybrook (Clay); three great-grandchildren, Victoria “Tori” Jade Claybrook, Kol Breed, and Rayne Breed; sister, Glynis Perdue (Raymond) of LaGrange, GA; and brother, Wayne Bailey (Syble) of Columbus, GA.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Breed, Chris Breed, Dwayne Perdue, Mark Duffie, and Clay Claybrook.
Mrs. Breed was born in Fitzgerald, GA on June 28, 1923. She is the daughter of Fred Jenkins and Nannie Sue Jackson Bailey. She was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church and worked as a seamstress at Palm Beach. Mrs. Breed is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Tom Breed; brother, Jerome Bailey; sister, Mary Jim Washington; and daughter-in-law, Linda Breed.
