Obituary of Wilbur Earl Guilford

A Graveside service for Wilbur “Bubba” Guilford, age 87, of Roanoke, AL, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM CST at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022. 

Mr. Guilford passed away on Thursdays, October 13, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Jean Guildford; step-son, Danny Hand (Dona); six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Baker.

Mr. Guildford was born in Tallassee, Alabama, on July 2, 1935. He is the son of Howard and Margaret Knowles Guilford.  Mr. Guilford was a member of Rock Mills Baptist Church, and worked as a Machinist at Duran Wayland. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Gary Hand; and brother, William Guilford.
