Obituary of Sue Knight
Funeral services for Sue Knight, age 69, of Wadley will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Corinth Christian Church with Bro. Ricky Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday before services begin.
Miss Knight passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.
Survivors include her sister, Joye Blankenship (Ronnie) of Salem; and two brothers, Joe Knight and Lee Knight (Patsy), both of Wadley.
Pallbearers will be Miss Knight’s nephews.
A lifelong Wadley resident, Miss Knight was born in LaGrange, Georgia, on March 28, 1953, the daughter of O. C. and Jimmie Hester Knight. She was a member of Corinth Christian Church. Miss Knight was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Mary Teresa Knight; and five great-nephews.
