OBITUARY
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Magdalean Smith Hester, of LaGrange, age 96, will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 20, 2009, from the Providence Baptist Fellowship Hall with Jeanette Richard presenting the eulogy. Mrs. Hester will lie in state at the fellowship hall one half-hour before the service. Burial to follow in adjoining church cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hester died Friday, December 18, 2009 at LaGrange Nursing Home and Rehab.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Blanch Williamson of Morrison Crossroads, Mavis Rollins of Roanoke; three step-sons, Horace "Bob" Hester of Roanoke, Bill Hester of LaGrange, Jimmy Hester of Roanoke; one sister, Inis Wilson of Florance; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hester was born December 26, 1912. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA. Mrs. Hester was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Hester; and her parents.
