Obituary of Howard Clarke Brown
Memorial services for Howard Clarke Brown, age 81, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mickey Vaughn officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.
Mr. Brown passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mandy Rushton (Mac) of Roanoke; one son, Brian Brown (Caribeth) of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Matthew Crenshaw, Emilie Brown, Lillie Brown, and Mattie Brown; one sister, Carolyn Baugus of Meridian, MS; one brother, Ellis Brown (Carol) of Roanoke; and several nieces and nephews.
A Roanoke native, Mr. Brown was born on October 4, 1940, the son of James Floyd and Lillie Agnes Crowder Brown. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and worked as a material purchaser for West Point Foundry. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents.
