Obituary of Chris Mitchum
Christopher Marc “Chris” Mitchum, 70, of Roanoke passed away February 27, 2022, in Roanoke.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include: one brother, William Allen Mitchum, of Roanoke; two nieces, Jodi Parmer (Wayne) and Molly Mitchum, both of Roanoke; four great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan Lyons, Mitch Parmer, Matthew Higgins, and Natalie Higgins; and a close friend, Phillip Tucker.
A lifelong Randolph County native, Mr. Mitchum was born on September 20, 1951, the son of William Luther and Lily Mae Ray Mitchum. He was self-employed as a computer programmer for many years. Mr. Mitchum was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Brad Mitchum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Randolph County Animal Shelter 104 Animal Shelter Road, Wedowee, AL 36278.
