Obituary of Betty Lee Ferrell

OBITUARY Funeral service for, Betty Lee Ferrell, age 72, of Roanoke, will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness with Bro. Levert Caldwell officiating. Mrs. Ferrell will lie in state one hour before the service at the Kingdom Hall. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ferrell died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her husband, Jasper Ferrell of Roanoke; five daughters, Melody Rathel of Phenix City, Julie Bateman of Phenix City, Jann Windham of Valley, Deborah Lashley of Cusseta, Beverly Paulson of Valley; two step-daughters, Pam Henry of Roanoke, Vanesa Bailey of Roanoke; five sons, Thomas Barrett of Wetumpka, Jerry Barrett of Roanoke, Anthony Barrett of Roanoke, Freddie Barrett of Valley, Charles Barrett of Valley; step-sons, Fred Ferrell of Roanoke, Kergie Ferrell of Roanoke; one sister, Edith Smith of Roanoke; thirty-eight grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren. Mrs. Ferrell was born June 8, 1939, the daughter of, Thomas and Nobie Tucker Pressley. She had been a housewife and was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lavern Daniels.
