Obituary of Jo Ann H. Stewart

Funeral services for Jo Ann H. Stewart, age 83, of Wadley, will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Corinth Christian Church with Bro. Ricky Cummings and Bro. Jimmy Brand officiating and Michael Howard delivering the eulogy. 

The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, December 20th.

Mrs. Stewart passed away at her home on Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Fran Cassiano of Alexander City and Vanessa Gail Wheeles of Wadley; four grandchildren, Michael Howard, Brandon Wheeles, Waylon Wheeles and Dillion Wheeles; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shane Taylor, Bruce Albright, Walt Albright, Johnny Tennant, Donald Caldwell and Malcom Bassett .

A native and lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Stewart was born April 25, 1938, the daughter of Bennie D. and Millie Sue Stevens Holliday.  She was a retired lunchroom lady with the Randolph County school system.  Mrs. Stewart was a member of Corinth South Christian Church, the Corinth Club, the Daviston Seniors Club, and the ADY Ladies Group.  She volunteered with the Randolph County Hospital Pink Ladies and with Chattahoochee Hospice. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Corinth South Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
