Obituary of Miles Zimmerman
Funeral services for Miles "Butch" Zimmerman, age 80, of Five Points, will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Brother Gerald Romine officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
Mr. Zimmerman passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, in Roanoke.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl A. Woods of York, PA; two grandsons, Steven Ruck and Cory (Gina) Ruck; and one sister Carole Ermel (Fred) of Orlando, FL.
A Harrisburg, PA, native, Mr. Zimmerman was born on March 15, 1941, the son of Miles B. Zimmerman and Anna Scott Zimmerman. He was a commercial fisherman who lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia, for many years before recently relocating to Alabama. Mr. Zimmerman was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Doris Crews Zimmerman.
