Obituary of Evelyn Benefield Weathers

OBITUARY Graveside services for, Evelyn Benefield Weathers, age 95, of Roanoke, will be held 11:00 am, Monday, December 26, 2011, from High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richie Farrow officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Monday, December 26th. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Allen, Shane Weathers, Aaron Weathers, Evan Weather, Dewayne Head Mrs. Weathers died Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Wedowee Hospital. Mrs. Weathers is survived by one son, Tony (wife Linda) Weathers of Roanoke; two grandsons, Aaron Weathers of Indianapolis, IN, Evan Weathers of Roanoke; five great grandchildren. Mrs. Weathers was born, July 30, 1916, the daughter of Claud and Lillian Deloach Benefield. She was a member of High Pine Baptist Church and had been a seamstress for Palm Beach Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bowd Weathers; her parents; one brother, Melvin Benefield.
